Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response * Centre is closed to in-person services * Harm reduction supplies will be distributed in the community through street outreach * to reach the Harm Reduction team, call or text Sarah 705-816-3493, or Sue 249-535-0570 * programs are being adapted to move online, see Gilbert Centre Online * email info@gilbertcentre.ca for more information Regular Service Provides social and support services to empower, promote health, and celebrate the lives of people living with and affected by HIV, hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted infections and the individuals and families from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and two-spirit (LGBTQ2S) communities of Simcoe County and Muskoka Region Programs include: * Safer Spaces for not-for-profit and for-profit organizations to provide agency audits, policy consultations, professional development workshops and resources to create more inclusive programming and services for LGBTQ2S people and their families * Support for people living with HIV and/or hepatitis C * Support and referral for people who use drugs as well as those involved in the sex work industry * Sexual health clinic for gay and bisexual men that provides screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, HIV testing, PrEP and immunizations - no health care or identification required * Support for parents, seniors and youth from the 2SLBGTQ Communities |
