Located adjacent to the cancer centre, providing accommodation for out of town cancer outpatients of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre

• Registered patients of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre and a client's caregiver who have to travel across the region for treatment at the Centre, priority will be given to those who must travel more than 40 km from the Centre
  
• individuals must be able to care for themselves and be able to take medications on their own (there are no medical services on-site)
  
• must attend medical appointments independently
  
• must be able to manage two flights of stairs without assistance or in case of Emergency get to stair well to wait for a response from Emergency services personnel
  
• Nurse will assess if a caregiver is needed to stay with client at Rotary House

• If client requires the help of a caregiver, the caregiver can also stay at no additional cost
• when space permits, a companion (family member or friend) can stay at Rotary House at a cost of $45 per night, tax extra, but they must be willing to give up their space if an eligible patient requires it
