Description

Description (Service)

Provides social and support services and health services to empower, promote health, and celebrate the lives of people living with and affected by HIV, hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted infections and the individuals and families from theTwo-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersex, transgender, questioning, non-binary, gender non-conforming and queer communities of Simcoe County and Muskoka Region

Programs include:

  • In-person and online social support groups for parents, seniors and youth from the 2SLBGTQ Communities
  • Support for people living with HIV and/or hepatitis C
  • Support and referral for people who use drugs as well as those involved in the sex work industry
  • Sexual health clinic for gay and bisexual men that provides screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, HIV testing, PrEP and immunizations - no health care or identification required
  • Safer Spaces provides organizational assessments, professional development workshops, and consultation services to create more inclusive programs and workplaces for 2S-LGBTQ+ communities
  • Drop-in hours available
  • Ready FIRST AIDE™ web application link provides step-by-step instructions when faced with an emergency. Lifesaving tool and fundraiser which helps support their programs
