| Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response * CNIB office at Anne St S is closed, will be moving to new location in Fall * for service call 1-800-563-0887 or 705-728-3352, ext 5281 Regular Service Vision Mate volunteers provide one-on-one sighted assistance and companionship for one or two hours per week for a person who is blind or partially sighted * approved activities: reading, organizing, walking, assisting with errands and/or outings, social visiting * volunteers complete an interview, orientation and training * two character references and a police record check with a vulnerable sector check required |
