Description (Service) Discusses rose growing and other garden subjects
  • hosts a Rose Show in late June or early July
  • Regional contact people in various areas to assist with problems in rose culture
  • each year during the month of May the Huronia Rose Society sells rose bushes at the Saturday morning Farmer's Markets in Barrie and Orillia
  • maintains a rose garden of hardy Canadian roses at Barrie's South Shore Community Centre, a plan of the garden with the names and description of the different types of roses in the garden is available at the garden site
  • hosts an annual rose show at Dorian Parker Community Centre
