Description (Service) COVID-19 Symptoms
 
If you have cold-like/respiratory symptoms (regardless of travel history), and have not been tested for COVID-19: 
  • self-isolate at home for 14 days 
  • use Ontario Government Self-Assessment Tool to help determine if you need to seek further care 
  • if symptoms worsen, seek clinical assessment over the phone - either by calling your primary care provider's office or Telehealth Ontario 1-866-797-0000 
  • if you need additional assessment, your primary care provider or Telehealth Ontario will direct you to in-person care options 
  • if you are in need of urgent medical attention, call 911
 
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Community 
  • stay home to protect yourself and others 
  • practice physical distancing staying 2 metres from others 
  • wear a mask 
  • avoid close contact with people outside of your immediate family 
  • wash hands frequently 
  • sneeze and cough into your sleeve 
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
 
Get the Flu Shot 
  • flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter 
  • contact your family doctor, local pharmacy or Flu Clinic Schedules for information about where to get a flu shot in your area
