Description (Service) COVID-19 Update 
  • Sessions are currently offered either as in person, by video conference or via telephone  
  • current clients are asked to call or email their worker to arrange a session, if you don't know the phone number or email of your worker call 705-725-7656 or email info@newpath.ca and ask to have your worker call you 
  • anyone wanting to access services for the first time or book a walk-in clinic session, please call 705-725-7656 or 1-866-566-7656 or email info@newpath.ca leaving your name and contact information and a counsellor will contact you to book an appointment by telephone
 
Regular Service 
Coordinates mental health supports in schools  
 
Program: 
  • works with staff from community agencies already working with children and families to coordinate services 
  • links elementary schools with community supports and services to enhance healthy child and youth development and to reduce social emotional, or behavioural barriers to learning  
  • offers consultation with school personnel to recognize mental health needs of students 
  • develops classroom management strategies to appropriately respond to mental health needs of students 
  • offers in-school small group programs 
  • offers brief individual and family counselling 
  • provides referrals to other community services such as parenting programs, counselling, recreation programs etc
 
 
Joint service offered in partnership with Kinark Child and Family Services

Central Intake Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, some evening hours
