Description (Service) March 25, 2020 -COVID-19 Response
* New Path Youth and Family Services staff are working remotely and currently delivery all counselling services via telephone
* Current clients are asked to call or email their worker to arrange a session * if you don't know the phone number or email of your worker call 705-725-7656 or email info@newpath.ca and ask to have your worker call you
* Anyone wanting to access services for the first time or book a walk-in clinic session, please call 705-725-7656 or 1-866-566-7656 or email info@newpath.ca leaving your name and contact information and a counsellor will contact you to book an appointment by telephone

Regular Service
Links elementary schools with community supports and services to enhance healthy child and youth development and to reduce social emotional, or behavioural barriers to learning

Services include specialized consultation to school personnel, classroom management strategies, in-school small group programs, brief individual and family counselling and links to other community services such as parenting programs, counselling, recreation programs etc

Teams are composed of a wide variety of community agencies and organizations already working with children and families * work together to improve service coordination in order to provide specific mental health supports in schools and to increase school capacity to recognize, respond to and appropriately refer children with mental health needs
