Description (Service) |
Francophone prevention centre for violence against women and sexual assault - free and confidential services offered include counseling, transitional support, housing support, family court support, advocacy, representation and accompaniment (when possible)
- offer information and referrals to community services and provide resources for support (books, CD-DVD's, etc)
- services offered are available by phone, or by email, in-person services are available by appointment only
Family Court Support Worker Program Facilitates a victim's understanding of and passage through the family court system. Support provided includes: - information on the family court process
- assistance in preparing for family court proceedings (documenting history of abuse, accessing Legal Aid
- debriefing with clients following family court appearances
- referral to specialized services and supports in the community
- safety planning
- court accompaniment to proceedings when appropriate

- Age Requirements: Ages: 16 year(s) and up
- Colibri Services -- Francophone or French speaking women who are experiencing, who have experienced or who are at risk of experiencing domestic violence and/or sexual assault
- Family Court Support Worker Program -- victims of domestic violence involved in the family court process
