Regional public art gallery serving the residents of Barrie, Simcoe County and the surrounding area - includes multiple exhibition galleries, an education centre, a sculpture courtyard and a Gallery Shop
- permanent collection of 27,408 works of art held in trust for the public and presents a year-round programme of world-class exhibitions, education activities and special events
- Lazy Tulip Café located in the MacLaren Art Centre
Education programmes include: - artist talks
- art classes
- school programmes and guided tours
- MacLaren's VanGo programme brings artists into classrooms throughout Simcoe County
- offers art classes and camps for children, youth and adults
