Description (Service) COVID-19 Response Due the COVID-19 Pandemic, support can be accessed by phone, email, Zoom or Facebook * In-person support has been suspended until further notice 
 
Regular Service: 
A self-help peer support and resource centre for people who have or are experiencing mental health and addiction issues, including substance and alcohol abuse 
 
People Supporting People is: 
  • a network of people who have experience with mental health issues and/or addiction issues and who believe in the power of peer support 
  • a group of trained individuals who provide education to assist persons in dealing with day-to-day issues and in developing a sense of personal well-being 
  • a group who, by providing training, serves to enhance self-confidence and help others in the process 
  • a program that provides the opportunity to acquire skills and share experiences

  • Anger Management 
  • Handling a Crisis 
  • Communication Skills 
  • Grief and Loss 
  • living on a shoe string budget
