Description (Service) | Provincial nature reserve * nature reserve is managed to protect its significant landforms * There are no visitor facilities * emphasis on protection of natural features * contains a prominent sequence of post-glacial shorelines, created during the retreat of the Wisconsinan glaciers * four historic shorelines are quite noticeable as the elevation of the property drops 35 meters to the present level of Georgian Bay * permitted activities include hiking and nature appreciation * hunting is not permitted * no motorized vehicles |
