Description (Service) Program designed to provide comprehensive support for children at risk so they may build upon and foster their inherent ability to make healthy choices by: 
* provision of social supports to address issues of self-esteem, victimization and peer pressure 
* outreach initiative to ensure access to culturally appropriate services for children in care and their families including support and education for non-Aboriginal adoptive and foster parents; 
* addressing the inter-related health impacts of poverty, diabetes, and obesity 
* providing school suspension supports, direct access to computers and literacy and encouraging healthy relationships with peers and authority figures 
* providing access to tutoring and mentoring, supervised physical activities and incorporating a parent support component for children with Fetal Alchohol Syndrome and/or other disabilities and their families  
* providing counselling and support to children who have witnessed violence
