Description & Services

Description (Service) Offers children a daily destination to learning and having fun through a variety of activities and encourages active living and new friendships.

Traditional Camps:
  • Kinder (4-5 years) activities designed for preschoolers and based on different weekly themes and featuring at least one excursion to a local place of interest.
  • Discovery (6-8 years) and Adventure (9-11 years) designed to improve self esteem, motor skills, creativity and social skills through a variety of arts and crafts, physical activities and excursions to local places of interest.
Specialty Camps
  • Mini-Traveler (4-5 years) designed to develop physical literacy and features one excursion to local place of interest.
  • Traveler (6-8 years) designed to develop physical literacy and features and features two excursion to local place of interest.
  • Trekker (9-11 years) based on peer interaction and healthy active living and features 3 excursion days each week.
Traditional and Specialty Camps are located at Perkinsfield Park (43 County Road 6 South, Tiny) and Wyevale Park (10 Concession 5 East, Tiny). Before care is also available.

Playground Camps:
  • focuses on nature-based play and brings activities to the park for campers to explore

  • located at the Lafontaine Park (342 Lafontaine Road West, Tiny).

Note: Due to the Child Care and Early Years Act, campers must be at least 4 years of age at the start of the camp.
Application Registration can be conducted in person or online via the website. Registration forms are available on the website or by contacting the Community Recreation Coordinator.
