Description (Service) | Drive thru COVID-19 assessment centre. Patients will be assessed by a nurse, while still in their vehicle. The nurse will make a clinical determination if a test is required. Only those who meet all criteria will be swabbed. The centre is not providing documentation for return to work purposes. Walk up patients will be asked to wait outside in line until they are assessed by a nurse. Please make sure you are 2 metres apart from others in line. Ontario has released the COVID-19 Test Results Viewer that allows you to check your results online |

Eligibility | Individuals should only seek testing at assessment centres if you are: * Showing COVID-19 symptoms (such as a new or worsening cough and/or fever - refer to the COVID-19 self-assessment) * Have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus, as informed by your public health unit or exposure notification through the COVID Alert app * A resident or work in a setting that has a COVID-19 outbreak, as identified and informed by your local public health unit and * Eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative directed by the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Long-Term Care Individuals with severe symptoms should call 9-1-1 if in distress or go to their local emergency department and follow special signage |
