Description (Service)

Residential withdrawal management centre:

Non-medical, residential support for those looking for support around their use of alcohol and/or other psycho active drugs (both prescription and street)
18 bed co-ed facility located off site from the main hospital campus
Program staff work collaboratively with the individual to develop an individualized discharge plan that supports their unique recovery goals
Individuals will have access to brief solution focused counselling and psycoeducational groups
Free, voluntary service that is available 24 hours a day
No referral is required

Eligibility	Age Requirements: 17 year(s) and up Intoxicated, in withdrawal, or in a crisis related to alcohol/drugs, and are suitable for non-medical intervention
Application	Referral: self, family member, health care provider, employer, police or any other community agency
