Description (Service)

National program supporting families, young parents or Newcomers to Canada with children 0-6 years of age who are currently living on a low income:

  • CAPC's hosted programs are MotherCare, Baby Steps and Next Step
  • Provide fun and inclusive activities to support healthy families
  • Activities relate to nutrition, health, parenting and child development, nutritious foods and other resources are shared free of charge
  • Program sessions include topics such as Young Parent Supports, Nutrition and Food Skill building, Parenting Programs, and Early Learning/Family Literacy Programs

  • offers virtual and in-person programming at multiple locations throughout Simcoe County
