Regular Service 
CARAH house (Courage and Recovery and Hope) is a residential home in Barrie, with 5 beds available to individuals who are experiencing a mental health, psychosocial or addiction related crisis * non-medical service provided and individuals may be required to be medically stabilized prior to being admitted * all other Crisis Services (telephone, mobiles, COAST) are available at this location * bed admissions are offered to those individuals who have completed a Mobile Assessment with Crisis Staff and who are deemed eligible for this service * bed requests are triaged daily, and admissions are short-term, goal-oriented and solution-focused * clients are expected to be involved in goal-setting and discharge planning with staff support.  
Local and surrounding Police Services can access CARAH 24hrs a day and there is a sixth bed reserved for Police referrals * crisis staff will work with admitted clients, providing flexible care and collaborative crisis planning, respite, medication education and supervision, relapse and Crisis prevention and safety planning, coping strategies, housing support, referrals to any ongoing community services as required, and assistance with other goals and needs as discussed with clients during their stay

Admissions after assessment which is provided in the community by mental health crisis workers between the hours of 10am and 10pm * Police Services can access 24hrs a day

Youth, Adult 16years of age or older who are experiencing a mental health, addiction or psychosocial related crisis * individuals must be medically stable and not be intoxicated
