The Help Centre's Housing Support Worker can assist with:

• Completion of private rental application forms

• Completion of Rent-Geared-to-Income applications (RGI)

• Providing transportation to rental viewings

• Providing referrals to other community services and/or other programs offered by The Help Centre

• Advocating for you with community agencies

• Reviewing your income

Our Senior Support Worker will assist and support with:

• Navigating the social service system

• Reviewing your income and creating a monthly budget

• Attending medical appointments with you, and advocating for you with your doctors

• Completing all kinds of government forms

• Picking up and delivering documents during tax season, and other important documents

• Providing grocery cards, and helping with grocery delivery

• Giving client the tools to become stable and have access to food, affordable housing and/or shelter, remain housed, get assistance in obtaining income security and obtain support, referrals and advocacy with other community services.
