| Eligibility | Social Housing General - filled by date of application * at least one member in household must be 16yrs and up * must be Canadian Citizen, Landed immigrant, or have Refugee Claimant Status and have no deportation order under the Immigration Act against any member of the household or no departure order or exclusion order under the Immigration Act * must be able to live independently * home owners must sell property within 6 months after being offered housing * must not owe arrears to any social housing provider or have misrepresented household income Seniors - filled by date of application * 60 yrs and up for seniors housing * if total assets equal more than fifty thousand dollars, can apply but may not be eligible Affordable housing programs have a range of eligibility criteria * more info is available on County website |
